Deutsch to report $400,000 raised for 3rd quarter; $3.3 million cash...

U.S. Rep. Peter Deutsch will report next week that his campaign has raised more than $400,000 for the 3rd financial quarter of 2003.

"We're on track to meet our goals and are excited about our early success," remarks Deutsch. The combined total for 3rd quarter will bring Deutsch's cash on hand for the Senate race to over $3.3 million. "We'll have all the funds necessary to run an aggressive primary and general election campaign," he adds.

With the withdrawal of U.S. Rep. Mark Foley (R-Palm Beach) from the race, Deutsch is expected to top the entire field, Democratic & Republican, in the race for contributions to replace Senator Bob Graham should he decide not to seek re-election.
